The Institute for Mindfulness South Africa (IMISA) is a leading NPO dedicated to mindfulness training, practice, and the ethical sharing of mindfulness-based approaches. Established in 2007, our mission is to cultivate mindfulness in ways that are context-sensitive, trauma-aware, inclusive, and grounded in integrity.

Our leadership team comprises experienced practitioners in mindfulness, medicine, trauma work, psychology, and related fields, bringing both academic and lived experience.
