Mbuyiselo Yanta
Mbuyi has completed advanced training in Organisational Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) and Alchemy: The Art and Science of Co-facilitation with CRR Global, as well as foundation training in African Family Constellations. He holds a University-Based Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBIs) through the Institute for Mindfulness South Africa, in collaboration with Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and completed a fellowship in Organisational Innovation with the DG Murray Trust.
Born in Khayelitsha, one of Cape Town’s largest townships, Mbuyi is deeply passionate about youth development and supporting young people in discovering their potential and strengthening their sense of agency. Over the years, he has worked with youth through Action Volunteers Africa, The Year Beyond Afterschool Gamechanger Programme, the Youth@Work Programme of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, and Project CodeX, among others.
He currently serves as an Innovation Manager at the DG Murray Trust, where he leads grantmaking and systems innovation under Opportunity 10 – Supporting Young People to Keep Their Grip on Opportunity. In this role, he supports catalytic initiatives that enable young people across South Africa to remain connected to education, livelihoods, and personal development opportunities, contributing to DGMT’s broader vision of an inclusive and equitable society.
